Business Analyst – Technology Operations recruitment
Key Accountabilities:
• Design, test and configure GL in support of new products and / or new system functionality.
• Regression test Impact functionality
• Support internal reporting solutions for Operations and Finance.
• Maintain internal relationships Finance, Security Static and Trade Support teams. Act as advisor to these teams with regard to new procedures for new product implementations.
• Liaise between clients, vendors and in house apps (front office, back office, middle office)
• Escalate problems and make enhancement requests as necessary
• Support back office applications to ensure that the systems are businesses needs are constantly being achieved and exceeded.
• Manage projects. Setup and maintain Status Reports, RAID reports, project plans.
Job Requirements: (Knowledge/ Experience):
General
• Ability to design, test and advise on Accounting Static Data.
• Ability to effectively liaise with front, middle, back office staff.
• Ability to troubleshoot technology and business problems under pressure.
• Ability to understand Fixed-Income trade flow from execution to settlement tp Back Office PL.
• Project Management capabilities- project lifecycles and all related artifacts.
• Business Analysis skills. Technical Skills
• Knowledge of MBSExpert and ADP-BPS expert from an operational, trading, accounting and technology perspective.
• MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, Project
• Showcase / ODBC query skills.
Business Knowledge
• Strong market knowledge of a broad range of Global Fixed Income products.
• Experience with Fixed Income Trade Support, Operations and Finance daily practices.
