Business Analyst (Trading Application) recruitment

• Work actively as a partner with the business users to own their needs and facilitate with the internal IT team for delivery.

• Recommend and guide business users on productivity solutions

• Engage in application user support as well as application custodianship for the applications under his/her care

• Working with various internal IT teams and own requests, seeing through the entire change / enhancement process

• Working knowledge of various aspects of trading room procedures covering equities derivatives.

• Provides end to end expertise knowledge on a trading product lifecycle

• Provide subject matter expert advice to development teams to fine tune or improve system enhancements

• Provide user test cases during testing phases of changes / projects to ensure business use cases are properly highlighted

• Participate and even manage adhoc projects typically for new processes / improvements.

Interpersonal Skill Requirements

• Able to work independently in a teamwork environment to complete assigned tasks.

• Able to understand user requirements and perform holistic analysis of work processes

• Hands on administration and management of reported incidents / questions / queries

• Able to analyze laterally on issues and always keeping the end goal in sight

Work Experience Requirements:

• Degree

• Minimum 3-5 years of working experience in a banking environment

• Good experience with Office productivity tools like Excel, Word

• Some experience with SQL queries will be advantageous
