Business Analyst – Training (Contract Management) recruitment
AGS on behalf of RBS represents contract and temporary opportunities for RBS MIB (Markets and International Banking). We have an outstanding contract opportunity for a Business Analyst/ Project Manager to make their mark with one of the world's largest international banking and financial services companies. In the role of a Business Analyst/ Project Manager, you will play an integral role in helping our client deliver market leading services that set it apart from its competitors. This is a contract position until the end of the year with possibilities of further extensions.
As the successful candidate you will work with business units to understand 'as-is' contract management capabilities (resource), communicate contract management processes and requirements to Markets stakeholders (road shows / training / communications), deploy training and communications and support the process of appointing contract managers. In addition the Analyst will support with existing governance work on established Programmes such as Cost Efficiency.
Responsibilities will include;
- Develop contract management training materials that will be used to train a number of contract managers within Markets business functions.
- Build training deployment plan and associated approach, ensuring the correct mix of PC based, classroom and general support is provided in the process of delivering training material.
- Work with the central Contract Management Procurement Services team to supplement materials developed to date and ensuring the key focus / requirements within the Policy Standard Handbook are addressed.
- Work with regional Procurement Services contacts to ensure alignment across regions whilst ensuring Markets UK materials are supplemented where required.
- Tailor training approach to vendor tiering and associated requirements based on business criticality.
- Develop an approach for tracking training deployment to Contract Manager population working with the Project to ensure this is built into a wider Contract Management dashboard.
- Take ownership for developing a range of status reporting and executive level reporting packs to provide visibility of project progress to include status, milestone delivery, benefits realisation and risk issue management.
Competencies:
- Experience of working in an Analytical type role across a large number of projects.
- Thorough understanding of the project life-cycle and tools /techniques/standards within each phase.
- Preparation of senior management MI packs.
- Familiar with Visio and able to document end to end processes (exposure to process mapping methodologies preferable)
- First rate Spreadsheet PowerPoint skills.
- Familiar with all forms of training delivery from PC based learning to classroom based delivery.
- Ability to develop communication plans / approaches.
- Familiar with industry standard project management concepts (Prince2).
- Ability to identify risk and issue items associated with the project and manage to resolution where applicable.
- Working knowledge of common techniques, tools, and languages used for enterprise analysis and business modelling such as but not limited to: BPMN, UML, SSADM, MS Project and Visio.
- A good appreciation of Procurement .
- Experience of working in large organisations in a similar analytical or project management type of role is essential.
- Previous experience working within the Investment banking/ Financial industry.
- Strong team player and relationship builder.
