Business Analyst – VP Fixed Income & Currencies e
Primary responsibilities:
- Interview end users and technologists at the client in order to research and determine the business requirements for client engagements
- Provide competitor analysis on an ongoing basis
- Analyze, design and specify functional requirements and enhancements
- Communicate verbal and written business and functional requirements to development and QA
- Communicate technical constraints and possible solutions back to the clients’ business and end-user communities
Job Requirements:
- 5+ years experience in a business analysis type role
- Experience with fixed income front-office trading, pricing and/market data and further client facing trading tools
- Experience writing business requirements documents and functional requirements documents. Use cases, data modeling/mapping and technical requirements documentation experience a plus
- Front office Fixed income product knowledge
- An ability to analyze the functional and logical aspects of external and legacy systems
- Experience with systems integration, particularly data transfer and straight through processing issues
