Business Analyst VP – Trade Finance
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Business Analyst to join a Global Treasury Business within technology to assist with a multitude of new and exciting global processing initiatives.
Our client is one of the world’s leading financial organisations who provide market leading products in asset management, investment banking, risk management and retail banking.
Responsibilities of the role:
- Meeting with stakeholders to harness requirements utilizing your knowledge of the market
- Writing technical specifications from translated requirements taken from various business units
- Support and deliver on Trade Finance System
- Develop relationships with other areas of the business both up and down the chain of command to enhance performance and continue to improve levels of service
- Provide further support on any issues that arise during the project life cycle and acting as a key interface
- Continue support on a global scale and initiate improved lines of communication to international business partners
- Following the full project life cycle you will ensure all new releases are in line with customer requirements
- Support the design and development teams on driving enterprise level design/development within a technically complex environment and introducing new technologies where appropriate
- You will also engage with the testing team to ensure all systems in place are fit for purpose and meet customer needs
Requirements of the Role:
- 8 years’ experience in business analysis within financial services ideally wealth
- Good knowledge of trade finance, ideally 4-5 years vendor side or client side
- Outstanding presentation skills with strong written and verbal communication
- Self-starter with the ability to work autonomously as well as within a team environment
- Track record delivering in an Investment Bank environment
- Strong gravitas who can work with limited supervision and can make important decisions
- Good leadership and gap analysis skills
