POSITION

 

Senior Business Analyst to assume a key role in the implementation of the Charles River OMS and Compliance system for a Fixed Income trade desk, as well as, providing support to the organization through resolution of production related issues and on-going maintenance to the systems environment.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

·         As a member of the implementation team, translate business needs into detailed written requirements bringing own experience into solutions.

·         Conduct testing of deliverables to ensure that they meet the needs of the Users

·         Develop and maintain training materials and workflow documentation for the supported systems. 

·         Provide business analysis and technical support to the Users, including working with them to prioritize deliverables.

·         Will be responsible for the initial response to any production issues, “how to” questions, etc. that come up during the normal course of business as they relate to Portfolio Manager and Trade Desk activities.

·         Proactively initiate, develop, and maintain effective working relationships with members of the organization and the firm.

 

REQUIREMENTS

 

 

·    Strong written and verbal communications skills, including the ability to tailor the discussion to the audience being communicated with.

·    3+ years experience with the Charles River OMS from the User’s perspective and some experience with its actual implementation. Experience with the Charles River Compliance system a plus.

·    8+  years of proven business analysis experience in Asset Management, with a particular focus on Fixed Income and derivative products.

·    Solid understanding of the relationships between Portfolio Managers, Traders, and Compliance Officers, and their respective roles/needs within an asset management firm.

·    Strong analytical and project management skills, including the ability to think outside of the box to resolve time sensitive production issues. 

·    Ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively and independently.

·    Flexible and willing to undertake a wide variety of challenging tasks.
