Business Analyst/Project Manager – Equities IT recruitment

The successful candidate will have an in-depth understanding of the Equities business from a front office perspective through to middle office. The PMO manages projects that span multiple groups, you will be required to perform business analysis across front-end trading applications, client connectivity, algorithmic trading, electronic execution, trade booking, trade reporting, risk and platform, taking loosely defined requests and working with stakeholders and technology teams to determine and document the actual business requirements, benefits, and proposed solutions.

You will have the technical ability to understand databases, messaging, development and the Full Development Lifecycle; while there is no direct software development within the role, previous development experience would be very beneficial as the candidate will need to work with developers to define and plan projects.

Key Skills

- Strong understanding of the Equities business front to back business flow and asset classes

- Business Analysis with strong analytical and problem solving skills

- Structured Project Management skills (Qualifications such as PRINCE2/PMP qualification would be beneficial)

- SDLC. Development/SQL/technical background would be beneficial

- Stakeholder management to determine requirements and build trust

- Communication and influencing skills, as the candidate will be working with application teams not under his/her direct control
