We're seeking a talented individual. Our client in a leading private bank. An exciting and new pivotal role has arisen for a Business Analyst to join the bank - you'll be responsible for pulling business requirements together and implementing new banking systems. Youll be working in a team of professionals in a friendly environment in well-located modern offices.

You will also provide support to IT technical Analysts and Developers and assist the business in implementing solutions and improvements to existing processes in the bank - so retail banking experience is an absolute must for this role complemented by business analysis and project expertise.

You'll have gained your experience and skills working in a banking environment using your skills and detailed understanding of the complete project lifecycle. You will ensure that risks and budgets are effectively controlled and managed and that all documentation is produced in accordance with agreed process methodology and standards.

You will assist IT in the maintenance and systems administration of the bank's computer systems, implementing new/modified banking and upgrades to the current systems and analysing and improving system critical processes by producing design option solutions.

Meticulous in your approach and with excellent attention to detail, you will also be responsible for the preparation and provision of FSA, HMRC and other regulatory reports

We are looking for a competent and driven Business Analyst with proven experience with overall systems knowledge including: Microsoft office packages, banking and/or accounting systems, databases and SQL.

Previous experience in financial services is essential and experience in a retail banking environment would be an advantage.

A Diploma in Business Analysis or equivalent is desirable.
