Business Analysts – Credit/Equity Derivatives

 

Proactive in our approach we strive to support our clients on future regulations, Rule Financial are actively recruiting Business Analysts/Technical BA’s who have proven Credit and Equity Derivatives knowledge across Settlement, Trade Support, Client Services, Reconciliation, Trade Capture and transaction processing. Along with recent Dodd Frank and EMIR trade reporting experience.

Working on global strategic programmes with our Tier 1 investment banking clients, you will be involved in the analysis of current legacy credit derivative trade capture environments, define an approach to migrate and enhance trade capture functionality, reference data sourcing and processing to the target operating model. As a consultant, you will perform end to end business analysis duties with a focus on data management, analyse changes/risks to trade capture platforms to support Dodd Frank trade reporting requirements and record keeping of requirements coverage and completeness for trade events.

Profile required: 

·         Business Analyst with technical understanding

·         Credit Derivatives knowledge experience (or equivalent experience with other types of derivatives)

·         Middle Office/Trade Capture/Trade lifecycle experience

·         Regulatory Reporting - Dodd Frank, EMIR

Duties:

·         Conduct analysis of business and user needs in order to develop requirements documentation for the implementation or revision of systems and applications

·         Work with and maintain relationships with the business to understand and agree the requirements for building improvements to IT systems

·         Analyse business requirements and document them into clear functional specifications, ensuring that the specifications are understood and signed off by IT and the business.

·         Proactively search for ways of improving existing business processes and to provide feedback and suggestions to both the project team and the business

·         Proactively challenge business processes with a view to uncovering risks and issues that might affect the project goals and timelines

·         Perform functional system testing  to ensure system features and functionality  have been implemented as per requirements

·         Create Training materials and provide user demos as needed

Required Skills:

·         Experienced BA with strong understanding of Trade Lifecycle – CRD, FX Options, FX Cash ,IR, Commodities

·         Gap Analysis to detail the work required to go from current state to future state

·         Technical and functional translation of requirements into project deliverables.

·         Proven Dodd Frank Regulatory Trade Reporting project experience.

·         Strong Test co-ordination, System and UAT Testing and issue analysis.

·         Understanding of Real Time Reporting rules and requirements

·         Experience with Rational Rose, UML, or Agile methodologies.

·         High level of interpersonal skills and communication with the ability to influence stakeholders.

·         Consulting background.
