Job Description
Our client provides large corporate, government and institutional clients with a full spectrum of solutions to their strategic advisory, financing and risk management needs. They are one of the largest financial services providers in the world, and are also engaged in retail banking, credit cards, corporate banking, and wealth and investment management.
Highly experienced detail and delivery-focused Business Analyst S(BA) required for a complex multi-workstream programme that spans across front, middle and back office investment banking areas, plus additional clusters within the Bank. This is a business focused programme that involves the repapering of large numbers of clients with new terms of business and other legal documentation. This is a fast paced and highly demanding programme positioned primarily within front office investment banking requiring high energy proactive candidates.
Experience working on repapering, client classification and working with legal and banking professionals a must. Looking for detailed types, not strategy types.

Key Skills:
- Candidate must be a detailed hands-on Business Analyst/Senior BA's / Project manager with either a Corporate or Investment Banking background.
- Requirements gathering – Ability to elicit and draw-out stakeholder’s requirements.
- Process mapping – Visio.
- Structured thinker – able to do high level delivery plans.
- Delivery Focused – Looking for someone who has wide-ranging experience of, and is naturally good at, making things happen and getting things done in a detailed, structured manner. Must have excellent structured thinking and a natural problem solver. Must be able to bring a variety of complex investment banking topics together for presentation to, and be easily understood by, senior management and stakeholders. Thereafter work with Project Managers to ensure the successful and timely implementation of identified solutions to plan.
- Ability to manage small scale change pieces in isolation and/or work pieces within a project set as directed by the Programme Manager.
- A flexible approach and the willingness to go the extra mile to ensure deliveries are met are essential. These are intense and demanding BA/PM roles with high expectations to do whatever is required to ensure deliveries are on time. To clarify, no weekend working requirements, no overtime paid.
- Able to gain credibility and respect with senior legal advisors, managing directors and senior investment banking sales professionals as a direct result of being a catalyst to make things happen, get things done and facilitate rapid delivery progress. Diplomatic and respectful senior stakeholder skills a must.
- Experience of documenting business process flows and implementing business process, controls and governance change is highly desirable.
MiFID Client Classification – A general understanding of MiFID client classification rules including differences between Retail and Professional clients in particular will be a plus, but not essential.
