My Data Warehousing client require a skilled .NET developer to join them as they expand into 2012. The company uses a radical new approach to delivering Business Intelligence using their bespoke database technology.
The job will involve working on new system developments, taking business requirements and translating them into professional software in both project anbd pre-sales scenarios. There will be some handling of complex data issues at a technical level and some data design work. The role will also involve supporting the solutions once they have been implemented. The company also uses it's own in memory database technolgy which is used to provide very leading-edge solutions which are extraordinarily price performant. Don't worry full training in this technology will be provided.
Skills:
Minimum 4 Years .NET programming with SQL
Experience gained on at least one substantial project that was formally planned and executed
Data / Database design, development and implementation
Ability to work independently and with limited supervision is essential
Must be able to communicate with non-technical business users
A Pre-Sales element to this role means candidates must be confident in cleint- facing situations.
You also must have your own car and be prepared to travel and occasionally stay away from home.
