Business and Corporate Banking Consultants recruitment

Capco are looking for experienced Business and Corporate Banking Consultants, who will have experience of working in the Financial Services industry and have a strong understanding of the product life cycle. Experience of change management, process design and system implementation will be required.

Key Objectives:

• Define the business operating model for corporate and business banking in the current and future environments

• Ability to develop business processes to deliver performance and/or cost efficiencies whilst ensuring control is maintained and risk is managed

• Ability to articulate the client proposition across all channels

• Broad knowledge of regulatory and economic factors impacting the industry

• Effecting, leading and implementing change in the following areas:

oMid- and Back-office process improvement,

oFront-office performance management

oClient Relationship Management

oDirect Channel propositions

oProduct Management and knowledge of pricing

oClient Segmentation strategy

o Key regulatory processes (KYC, AML etc)

Experience   

• You have experience of project work within Global Business and / or Corporate Banking institutions, either as a consultant or within a top-tier industry institution – a combination of both of these would be ideal. 

• You have a solid background in at least one of the product segments in Business or Corporate Banking:

o   Small and Medium Sized Enterprises

o   Payments and cash management,

o   Trade services,

o   Treasury / Liquidity Management

o   Core lending

• You have a strong understanding of business and market dynamics, financial practices and supportive technologies in the Financial Services Industry

• You have a strong understanding of the project lifecycle and the ability to employ these concepts in process design, system implementation and the development of client deliverables.

• Credibility to command respect and to drive the change agenda amongst multiple stakeholders

• Excellent communication and influencing skills with ability to positively and sensitively work with executive stakeholders

• Highly effective relationship management skills, with the ability to find ways of solving or pre-empting problems

• Extensive experience with writing business cases, good presentation skills, and analytical ability

• Experience modelling business processes using a variety of tools and techniques and exposure to operational excellence principles desirable
