A great opportunity for an accomplished Business Analyst has arisen to join our Group Chief Investment Office (CIO) in Sydney. Reporting to the Head of Group Balance Sheet Management, you will be joining a dynamic, experienced and high performing team in a diverse and varied role where you will research, monitor and provide advice around investment portfolio risk investigation.

This is a key role that provides high level visibility and extensive insight into Suncorp's Group-wide lines of business (LOB) including Life, General Insurance, the New Zealand operation and Group Corporate Units and their investment portfolios. You will work with a range of internal and external stakeholders including the Finance and Risk teams within the various LOBs, the Asset Liability Committees (ALCOs), investment committees, senior business leaders and external fund managers.

Your primary responsibility will be to research business information, improve the design and effectiveness of Group Balance Sheet Management reporting and provide advice on areas of risk/investment investigation.

You will also possess tertiary or post graduate qualifications in Economics, Commerce, Finance or other relevant disciplines (mandatory) with a thorough understanding of investments and investment risk reporting. With a strong commercial acumen, you will have the ability to synthesise information and formulate investment reporting. Very strong communication and negotiation skills will also be required.
