BUSINESS ARCHITECT
Sierra Systems is currently seeking a Business Architect to work on upcoming assignments in the province of Alberta. In this role, you will work independently or collaboratively to design and develop business and technology initiatives. You will also assist in collecting business requirements, establishing standards, processes and procedures based on best practices that align with organizational objectives.
KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS EXPERIENCE
- University or college degree
- Minimum 5 years of experience doing business analysis and architecture work
- Minimum 5 years of experience in business process reengineering (BPR) initiatives, and BPR best practices, methods, tools, policies, and processes
- Minimum 2 years of experience in designing, organizing, and facilitating successful requirements gathering workshops and documenting detailed business and functional requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in multiple concurrent projects to implement solutions that enable information sharing across multiple business entities and stakeholders
- Minimum 5 years of experience working as part of a team in a matrix environment while maintaining positive relationships with all levels of stakeholders including high-level decision makers
- Minimum 5 years of experience in leading and participating in the design and development of training plans and test strategies for both business processes and technical solutions
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Government of Alberta Business Architecture and Information Management and Information Technology (IM/IT) Strategies
