Business Assurance Controls Manager

My client, a well-known brand is seeking to appoint an Assurance Controls Manager to join their team.

The primary function of this team is to perform independent assessments and reviews of the design and operating effectiveness of the internal control environment.
The aim is to ensure compliance with Company Policy and Sarbanes Oxley legislation, through coordination of the business controls assurance team, process owners and management.

Skills, experience and qualifications required:

ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified, with at least 5 years post qualification experience.
Experience of reviewing and improving processes/internal control
Strong business commercial acumen
Desire to drive business change
Excellent stakeholder management
Excellent interpersonal, verbal written communication skills
Knowledge of Sarbanes Oxley compliance requirements is desirable
