Chase Business Bankers are both individual producers and the business experts for the branch team. These individuals are responsible for driving Business Sales and Revenue growth in an assigned branch.
Specific Responsibilities include:
- Acquire Business Customers - Bring in new business customers by primarily working with the branch's customer base and centers of influence to expand that customer base.
- Deepen and Retain Relationships - Completely profile new and existing customers to ensure cross-sell of deposits, credit, convenience and personal products. Follow up on all business accounts to ensure we have captured the full opportunity.
- Retain and Grow Premier Customer Base - Work the existing book of Business Premier customers to capture the entire relationship, improve retention, and increase branch revenue growth. Set follow-ups in Contact Manager after all Premier Contacts.
- Be a part of the Branch Team- Actively participate in Branch daily sales huddles and commit to seeing customers. Help Personal Bankers make more money by driving Business PVCs. Deliver the power of Chase to our customers by identifying Consumer product opportunities among business owners and refer to Personal Bankers or other specialists such as Loan Officers, Financial Advisors, ADP and Chase Paymentech to effectively capture. Identify larger business opportunities and refer more complex customers to the Relationship Manager Channel.
- Be the Business Expert- Open all new Business relationships and be the point person for all Business referrals. Demonstrate expertise with all Business policies and procedures. Ensure funding of all new business accounts and drive Relationship Ratio for all these accounts.

In exchange for achieving goals, Business Bankers earn a competitive base salary plus the opportunity to participate in an uncapped incentive plan with two monthly payouts.
Business Bankers will complete New Hire Training, Credit Essentials Training and Credit Success through Sales Express Training and Ongoing annual training requirements, systems releases, etc.

- A minimum of 3+ years retail branch banking sales experience that includes Business Banking sales or outside consultative business to business sales experience i.e., sales/service industry that requires both a strong ability to influence sales behaviors and strong customer service focus.
- 1-3 years Financial Services experience with business banking sales is preferred i.e., Personal Banker, Branch Manager, Small Business Specialist, or Credit Underwriters, Chase at Work,Chase Paymentech etc.
- Thorough knowledge of Business Banking products and services, policies and procedures is preferred.
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience.
