Business Change Adviser

Hays Specialist Recruitment has been exclusively retained by The Pensions Regulator in Brighton, East Sussex to recruit a Business Change Advisor to support the planning, and to deliver people related activity in such a way that adverse impact on the business is minimised.

This vacancy is signed off as a fixed term contract until September 2014 as it is within the rapidly emerging work required under automatic enrolment and so the longer term role requirements are yet to be defined

The Pensions Regulator is the UK regulator of work-based pension schemes. Their principal aim is to prevent problems from developing. Using their powers flexibly, reasonably and appropriately, with the aim of putting things right and keeping schemes on the right track for the long term.

The responsibilities of the job will be for the successful candidate to:

· support the development of the business change approach
· work with the business to identify business change impacts
· ensure that organisational impacts are captured and that issues are raised and resolved as necessary
· plan, manage and deliver communications and stakeholder relationship management activity as required to support the business change
· support the definition of benefits and benefits realisation
· provide support as necessary for the Business Change Manager
Essential skills
· excellent communication skills (written and oral), including producing and delivering presentations
· experience of producing stakeholder maps and communications plans
· experience in change projects and programmes
· experience in benefits identification and benefits realisation
· experience of constructing Training Needs Analysis
· risk and issue management.
