Business Change Project Manager – Energy Trading
My client is a leading energy trading organisation who is experiencing company-wide growth and exciting changes. This role sits within the Business Management team which provides a focus on operational excellence, process control and change management within the energy trading business unit. The Project Manager will collaborate closely with key business stakeholders to deliver integrated business change, encompassing process, technology and people.
The Business Change Project Manager role will involve:
• Responsible for building and leading project teams to deliver complex business change which may comprise one or more of the following:
o Behavioural/People elements
o New or enhanced Processes
o New or modified systems
• Proactive identification, shaping and delivery of business process improvements and effectiveness, through a deep understanding of the trading markets in which they operate
• Delivery of business change across the whole lifecycle from concept to closure.
• Definition and implementation of overall project governance structure and provision of clear roles and responsibilities and objectives for the project team and key stakeholders
• Stakeholder management
• Building of strong relationships with and gaining the trust of the Trading Leadership team, understanding their priorities and the business benefits of your project(s)
The Business Change Project Manager role will require:
• A proven track record of delivering complex business transformation projects -involving behavioural and process change in an energy trading environment
• An experienced and successful business change manager or a consultant with a deep understanding of energy trading markets
• Worked in a lead role on major projects and delivered substantial business change and financial benefits
• Experience of planning, management and risk mitigation
• Must be educated to degree level or equivalent
