BUSINESS CONSULTANT – ADVANCED TRADING TECHNOLOGY
HIRE REQUIRED BEFORE END OF 2011
One of the leading providers of OMS technology is seeking to hire a Business Consultant before the end of the year.
This will be a client facing role where you will be in direct contact with the various hedge fund clients and top investment institutions. You will be interacting with Portfolio Managers, Fund Managers, Traders etc. Your ability to build and maintain relationships will be essential.
You will be responsible for the implementation of the mission critical real time, multi-asset class and multi strategy system. This will be a fast paced trading environment where quick reaction and out the box thinking will be required.
As a Business Consultant you will have to constantly understand the customers evolving needs and what solutions you can provide to help them drive growth.
This will be an exciting role within a high quality team.
Responsibilities
Interaction with front office traders, portfolio managers, CFOs, CTOs
Analysis of the clients business
Provide consultancy advice
Documentation, functional, technical specification
Provision of user workflow training
Co-ordinate with cross functional teams for on-going support.
Qualifications:
Degree in computer science
Front Office Middle Office exposure
Multi-asset class knowledge
Strong business knowledge on the buy/sell side
Analytical thinking, problem solving
Strong understanding of the financial markets and the investment process
Understanding and use of SQL
