Leading software house seeking a back office consultant.
The role will involve the responsibility of project management, business analysis, implementation and pre-sales.
This position will involve client facing activities acting as the business expert to run demonstrations, manage workshops to present the functional and technical benefits to the users of the back office and accounting modules.
In addition you will also be involved in implementation, support, business analysis and trouble shooting. You will also co-ordinate and project manage trial periods and implementations onsite with clients and any training needs.
Ideally you should have good knowledge on derivatives, options, swaps, IRS and also knowledge in the back office processes including settlement, accounting, workflows, payment messages etc
Requirements for this role:
Computer science or related field background
Consulting background (highly preferable).
At least 3 years experience of operations related experience within investment banking
Knowledge in back office, settlement confirmations, payments, funding, reconciliation and accounting systems
Project management, business analysis and implementation experience
Product knowledge including equities and derivatives
Proficiency in XML is required (VBA, SQL, Oracle is advantageous)
English language is a must (other languages advantageous Mandarin, Korean, French)
