Business Continuity Manager- Associate Director recruitment
Job Duties:
- Provide BCM leadership and direction and work closely with Head Office Functions and Group Executive to assist in the creation, maintenance and testing of robust Business Continuity plans, in line with Group Policy and Standards.
- Oversee gathering of data from across Group and Head Office Functions to support oversight of compliance with Group Policy and minimum standards.
- Challenge the validity of Head Office Functions Business Continuity Plans prepared by Business Continuity Coordinators in the business.
- Work with the wider Group BCM team to support the provision of relevant exercising and other training / awareness programmes throughout Head Office Functions.
- Facilitate Head Office Functions participation in IT and work area recovery testing, ensuring Senior Management engagement.
- Responsibility for providing ongoing support to Head Office Functions in identifying, planning and readiness to respond to business interruption risks.
Relationship Management, including Crisis Management (25%)
- Ensure BCM and Crisis Management documentation (e.g. Crisis Management manuals, Wallet Cards, Crisis Management contacts) is maintained and is fit for purpose.
- Drive Group and Head Office Functions Crisis Management Exercising programmes by ensuring appropriate Senior Management support and overseeing administrative arrangements and production of materials.
- Responsible for Senior Stakeholder engagement and providing a point of contact for Head Office Functions queries related to Business Continuity arrangements.
- Maintain a good understanding of Head Office Functions’ role and interdependencies with Divisions.
- Develop good relationships across Technology, CRES and Security to facilitate robust planning.
Firm-Wide Project Co-ordination/ Thought Leadership (45%)
- Provide subject matter expertise on Business Continuity issues, ensuring co-ordination across Divisions as appropriate.
- Provide co-ordination and leadership on projects and programmes with cross- Divisional scope.
- Ensure BCM is represented as necessary on projects/ programmes where lead by other Functions (e.g. CRES, Technology, and Risk).
- Act as point of contact on BCM issue where syndicated BCM input is required.
Education Awareness 5%
- Provide support across the Group BCM team to build relevant training and awareness programmes and associated materials
