Business Continuity Manager recruitment
Key Responsibilities
Working closely with the Group Head BCM, to implement BCM Programme for Singapore; by ensuring timely and quality delivery of Business Continuity Management, Disaster Recovery and Incident Management Processes and ensure that the regional BCM Programme is up to date and comply with the Regulatory standards:. These includes:
- Ongoing Advice on BIAs / Risk Assessment Review to the Bank’s business / Support units.
- Review and validate the critical business units’ BIA reports annually
- Develop/Review of BCPs for business / support units and ensure that the plans reflect their recovery strategies and resource requirements correctly.
- Review and update the Bank’s Crisis Management Plan whenever there are major changes to logistics, or re-organizations to the Crisis Management Team (CMT) / Crisis Management Support Team (CMST).
- Coordinate with the Bank’s IT Disaster Recovery team in constantly enhancing the DR strategy in line with the growing business applications.
- Coordinate, plan and oversee the annual DRP BCM integrated exercises
- Conduct Business Continuity Training Program to bank staff annually.
- Provide status/metric reporting on key aspects of the BCM to senior management
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years working experience in Banking / Financial Services industry with at least 5 years experience in Business Continuity Management
- Proven track record in implement or roll out BCM Programme from scratch
- Excellent network or working experience with regulators i.e. MAS, ABS
- Strong knowledge with various BCM tools; ability to suggest and implement effective BCM tools for ths organization.
- Sound understanding of systems and operations processes as well as various aspects of business risks
- Strong interpersonal skills to manage senior and junior staff in multiple locations and functional areas
