Business Controller (Planning & Forecasting) recruitment
As Business Controller at UBS, you will be part of the Business Analysis Planning team within the Wealth Management Finance function.
Key tasks and responsibilities include:
- You will drive the regional business planning/forecasting process and to support ad-hoc and systematic management information requests through handling of our MIS system, and standard analysis techniques to transform data into information
- You need to be creative and resourceful with excellent technical and superior analytical skills to combine different types of information intelligently to find patterns and issues, and then articulate these findings in a simple and transparent manner
- This role requires a flexible style, working in an international, exciting, and fast paced dynamic environment, often balancing several priorities at the same time
- You will work largely on individual projects and assignments that form a part of the regional/global team’s products and goals
- Responsible for management presentations
Our ideal candidate should have the following requisites:
- Degree in Banking or Finance
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience as Business Analyst or Business Controlling within banking / audit
- Prior experience in MIS or data analytics is preferred
- Possess an aptitude for numbers
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Good command of English language (spoken and written)
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel PowerPoint mandatory, Access desired). Knowledge of Hyperion Essbase and/or Business Objects would be useful
- Candidate must be a team player, have a positive work attitude and flexibility to work in an exciting and fast paced dynamic environment
- This role would support a candidate from a variety of backgrounds including Accounting Reporting, Auditing, or Business Analysis. Relevant prior experience in the financial sector or with an accounting or management consulting institution is highly valued
