Business Data Analyst
My large banking client based in London is looking to recruit for a Business Data Analyst on a contracting basis to start asap.
This role will support the central project team with the European implementation for a liquidity reporting system to meet Basel III / CRD IV reporting requirements.
Key responsibilities will include but are not inclusive to:
Review key reference data information
Customer type
Master groups
Ratings
Determine mappings to EBA liquidity reporting templates
Liaise with reference data business owners to establish process for clean up of data where gaps or errors are identified
Confirm methodology for overriding any data that has not been cleaned at source
Review actual extracts of data, produce data quality metrics, define and drive execution of required remediation actions.
Provide support in solution delivery, including preparation of test data and test conditions and performing data-related UAT.
The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrates:
An understanding of basic accounting principles to support in the review and UAT of the reconciliation to financial statements process.
The ability to work quickly and accurately to achieve tight deadlines.
Good communication skills to support effective analysis of additional analytical report requirements.
