Seattle-based leader (50% share) of secure application delivery market is seeking a Business Development Manager for the Security segment of the Professional Services division of their profitable and growing business. This is a leadership position reporting to the VP of Consulting, responsible for the design and execution of the Security segment of their Consulting business. The individual will work closely with Marketing and implement future consultancy services that will drive product sales, customer satisfaction, and profitable revenue. The individual will work closely with product development, service delivery, and field sales to take products from assessment through implementation. He/she will be responsible for the creation of a business plan for each product/service to include cross function business impact, predicted costs/revenue/margin and time-based field release schedule.
Candidates will have 7+ years experience in technology industry, particularly in computer security/networking, and preferably knowedge of firewalls. Should have awareness of Professional Services and Consultancy and a proven track record working with field sales/marketing/training. A BS in a technological degree is required.
Compensation to $140K + stock
