The Business Development Affiliate Manager will be responsible for developing and managing affiliate relationships with websites that contribute high volume traffic and revenue to our education based sites. This individual will research and execute strategic initiatives for all facets of affiliate marketing to grow affiliate relationships and overall revenue. This candidate should be a sales hunter, self starter, creative, and motivated to impact the revenue growth of the division.
Affiliate Marketing Manager Responsibilities:
- Prospect and maintain relationships with strategic affiliates for education affiliate marketing programs.
- Manage all affiliate marketing campaigns for multiple education websites.
- Day-to-day management of affiliate marketing campaigns including growth strategy with affiliates, campaign setup and tracking, revenue reporting, compliance monitoring and quality assurance, and overall campaign optimization.
- Prospect new affiliate partners and execute affiliate agreements with monthly target goals.
- Daily prospecting activities of 30 – 40 phone calls per day.
- Collaborate with account team to analyze client data to optimize affiliate marketing campaigns for performance.
- Create and research strategic prospect list of target affiliate accounts.
- Update and maintain pipeline of target affiliate accounts for weekly reports.
- Work with design team to create custom integrations with large affiliate partners.
- Create management reports on performance, trends and growth areas.
- Update daily reports on revenue, affiliate traffic and conversion performance
- Create and manage affiliate traffic and demographic reports.
Requirements:
· 2-5 years experience in business development/sales for affiliate marketing, direct response, online media, advertising or related field.
· Experience with marketing for education, career, insurance, finance or related fields preferred but not required.
· Experience understanding conversion metrics for CPA, CPL, CPC or CPM a plus.
· Ability to analyze, optimize and strategize performance marketing campaigns.
· Good Excel skills.
· Motivated team player with desire to impact and grow the division.
· College degree, with focus in business, marketing, or related field.
Must be comfortable working independently
