Business Development Analyst recruitment

Commanding a thorough knowledge of their business, coupled with strong interpersonal skills, the successful candidate will work closely with other members of the team on prospect and marketing activities. He/she will conduct market analysis, initiate research, respond to inquiries on a wide variety of topics, and as opportunity arises participate in prospect and client meetings.

Ø  Actively assist the Business Development Managers in their efforts to maintain an ongoing dialogue with prospects and to the move the pipeline forward

Ø  Work with Business Development Managers to understand market and target prospects

Ø  Help to build and maintain strong and effective prospect relationships

Ø  Analyse and maintain the latest industry/market information and provide extensive analysis on target and current prospects
Initiating contacts with prospects

Ø  As required meet with prospects and consultants and manage any follow up

Ø  Co-ordination of Requests for Proposals (RFPs) to ensure that each RFP receives the proper response.

Ø  Timely preparation of materials for prospect meetings, finals presentations and proposals to prospective clients and consultants.

Ø  Respond to prospect requests for reports/data

Ø  Ensure all prospect data is accurately captured and reflected via internal systems;
 

Qualifications

The successful candidate will have:

Ø  Approx 3-5 years relevant experience within the investment management industry

Ø  Demonstrable knowledge of capital markets and/or investment products

Ø  Strong academic credentials are required, a Bachelor’s degree with preference given to candidates progressing towards a CFA

Ø  Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
