Role Purpose: To provide Regional support to the Business Development activities for the HSE Division. Identify and co-ordinate all new business opportunities and maintain current, complete accurate Client Relationship Management (CRM) tool information.
- Review industry periodicals, bid lists, websites and other sources of data for the identification of possible project leads.
- Perform preliminary due diligence to verify the lead and set up appointments as necessary.
- Call existing clients and prospects to set up meetings for the Sales Team
- Enter all new leads onto the CRM tool and update existing as needed.
- Prepare marketing information for distribution to client ahead of scheduled meeting
- Participate in client visits, presentations, and trade shows as needed.
- Provide a weekly and monthly report to Regional VP, Business Development Director and/or Business Unit Manager detailing all current leads, appointments set
- Participate in periodic Business Development Cadence Calls
- Work closely with Regional Area Managers, Regional Business Development Director, and Regional Vice President to assist with client and prospect follow up
- Participate in networking events and follow up activities
- Work closely with other regional marketing co-ordinators on all inter company activities
- Manage special projects on an ad hoc basis.
Produce and assist with proposals/RFP’s as directed
Position may be located near Detroit, MI or Akron/Cleveland, OH areas.
Required Skills:
- Educated to Marketing or HSE technical degree level preferable
- Minimum of 2 years previous experience in a professional services arena
- English and local language skills
- Communication skills
- Organizational skills
