Business Development Associate
We are seeking an enthusiastic, high calibre and dynamic individual to join the Australian distribution team of a top tier global ETF provider. Market Vectors is the ETF business of Van Eck Global and is establishing a local presence to participate in Australia's rapidly growing ETF market by offering targeted exposure to important investment sectors.
The position is based in Sydney. With a primary focus on the retail side, your responsibilities will include calling prospects, assisting lead generation, developing account plans, CRM maintenance, organising events, assisting with marketing campaigns, answering ad hoc queries from advisers/brokers and other tasks as required.
To be successful in this role:
- 2 to 4 years relevant experience in asset management and/or financial services
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good project management skills and the ability to work independently
- Extensive knowledge of and experience working with SalesForce and MS Applications
- Degree qualified with excellent academic credentials.
