ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

 

1.         Increase sales through building long term relationships with current and potential clients.

 

2.         Promote brand awareness by promoting quarterly CA Dept. of Insurance classes and attending local networking events.

 

3.         Maintain records of all marketing activities using Outlook.

 

4.         Work closely with the Director of Marketing to develop strategies and plans to deliver the desired message.

 

5.         Identify new customer base and propose marketing strategies.

 

6.         Establish and track goals weekly with the Director of Marketing.

 

7.         Develop and maintain a working knowledge of core services and procedures.

 

8.         Maintain a professional appearance at all times.

 

9.         Be honest and reliable.

 

 

 

 

 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Associates degree or two to five years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

 

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.  Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

 

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense and carry out instructions furnished in  written, oral, or diagram form.  Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

 

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Must have and maintain a valid vehicle operator license appropriate to the equipment operated.

 

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS

1.  Must be able to communicate effectively with employees, customers, potential

     customers and vendors.

 

2.  Must have mid-level computer skills and be familiar with Windows operating

     systems, spread sheets, email and word processing.

 

3.  Functional understanding of PDA’s (smart phones).

 

4.  Aptitude for learning new technology and software easily is essential.
