SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS

Develop utility-scale horizontal single axis tracker sales for the SunEdison Tracker (SET), and potentially for products of partner tracker companies, including azimuthal-type trackers. Develop leads within the utility-scale PV industry, including with developers, engineering firms, banks, other component manufacturers (PV modules and inverters) and utilities.

 

Must gather critical inputs (project size, location, dates, module details, etc) and develop and present specific proposals including pricing and preliminary design based on those. Must present Terms and Conditions and assure these are met. Upon receipt of order, must engage internal teams on the processing of the order, usually on tight deadlines. Serve as client single point of contact (account rep) in all subsequent phases of the project, through commissioning.


QUALIFICATIONS

1.       3+ years of B2B sales experience

2.       Previous strong and demonstrable track record of success, selling and building relationships at the “C” level and down

3.       Knowledge of panel technologies, including suitability for tracker applications

4.       Must have experience calling on Major U.S. Corporations

5.       Must be flexible to travel and represent SunEdison at trade shows and client sites

6.       Good communicator and strong follow-up skills through multi-year sales cycles

7.       MS Word fluent (Word, PPT, Excel, Project)

8.       Good to have: CRM, AutoCAD, PVSYST, SAM

9.       Position is US-focused and US-based, but could be called on to support/pursue opportunities virtually anywhere worldwide

10.   Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Engineering
