Business Development Director
Responsibilities
- Building and developing relationships with institutional clients and distributors in overseas markets, e.g. US, Europe
- Developing solid and continuous relationships and to raise assets from existing and newly established investors in the Asia region
- Identifying key industry and market trend and their impact on the Company's product set
- Gaining a solid understanding of the portfolio construction, investment offerings and implementation process
- Working effectively with different internal parties and able to present on the firm's behalf
- Developing the institutional sales business through promoting the investment strategies and fund products of the company
- Lead and coordinate with other functions in the design and development of the fund product
Requirement
- Minimum 10 years experience in the financial services industry, preferably in asset management or FI, with a minimum 5 years successful track record in business development
- Good network with private bank, distribution channel or institutional clients etc.
- Self motivated with strong sense of urgency
- Thrives in a team-based environment
- Customer focus, service oriented approach
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills in Mandarin and English. ( Regular interaction with Mandarin clients and colleagues )
- Able to travel frequently
