He/she will leverage previous experience and relationships to develop new sales opportunities. This individual will possess the intellectual ability to analyze markets and penetrate new client organizations. The candidate will manage the entire sales cycle. Experienced with the intricacies of the outsourcing market this executive will drive pursuits in concert with existing account relationships or target new accounts. Specific responsibilities include: Assess, build, and enhance the positioning of CSC. Drive sales pursuits that will yield $50m to $300M in TCV per pursuit. Person The ideal candidate will possess a blend of infrastructure and/or applications outsourcing experience with a proven track record of successfully leveraging industry relationships to secure long-term outsourcing engagements. The candidate should have 10 years of experience leading teams on a variety of successful business development activities centered on outsourcing engagements. Possessing a passion for sales and business development, the ideal candidate has the proven ability to quickly assimilate into new surroundings without large support staffs or budgets, and will have shown immediate success in establishing relationships and winning outsourcing contracts. Of significance will be the candidate's proven experience in scaling not only their company's current presence in the outsourcing marketplace, but their ability to work together with other executives, including executives within strategic alliance partners. The ideal candidate will have experience independently leading sales and managing the entire sales cycle of multi-year outsourcing deals, responsible for the end-to-end management of sourcing, lead development, client presentations, negotiations, final assessment, and future project management. This executive will successfully work with other company leaders to identify and define market opportunities that will lead to future business development. With expertise in outsourcing services, the ideal candidate will have likely balanced their career between marketing, business development, and sales while also developing extensive skill sets in partner and alliance management. Critical soft skills will include an outgoing and aggressive personality, who exudes trust, leadership and confidence to their peers and teams alike, and a personality of self-assurance, creativity, and camaraderie. Other qualifications of the ideal candidate are as follows: The proven ability, gained through multiple successes, to identify, engage, negotiate, and secure long-term, eight figure strategic outsourcing contracts; Experience in working with a diverse delivery model across multiple industry verticals; Deep skills in all aspects of sales and business development, as well as a history of well-developed relationships within the Fortune 1000; Driven by personal earning potential; A track record of working with and managing aggressive sales and business development teams within a professional services or consulting environment; Success in personally hunting and closing major outsourcing contracts valued in the range of $50m to $300M; The proven ability to work effectively at all levels within a company to support sales initiatives; A relationship builder at the most senior management level; A proven business development professional with executive presence; strong communication and presentation skills; and a drive for results; Viewed as insightful, creative, articulate, persuasive, and organized.
