Job Overview:
Research, develop, and manage large-scale or company-critical strategic partnerships in areas such as sales, product implementation, or integrated product services to maximize market share. Reports to the VP of Business Development.
This position can be seated anywhere in the US, ideally in one of our US office locations; Redmond, WA, Dallas, TX, Eden Prairie, MN or Alexandria, VA.
Responsibilities:
- Research, develop and implement large scale joint marketing programs with strategic partners.
- Set partner performance goals, evaluate performance, analyze deficiencies, and develop and implement changes for improvements.
- Promote partner initiatives and voice partner needs in internal product steering and marketing initiative meetings.
- Coordinate Partner product education, develop and update educational tools.
- Research and analyze market and product information, create custom competitive marketing information for partners, and coordinate marketing communication plans with partners team leaders.
- Manage relationships with partners and internal cross-functional teams to facilitate and promote buy in to partnerships
- Develop, promote, and implement pricing strategy based on partner characteristics.
- Identify, pursue, negotiate, and formalize new partner relationships.
- Maintain up to date market information and news as well as news on partner companies and competitors.
- Serve as information resource and escalation point for critical issues that arise between partners and employees.
- Exercises judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
- Uses professional concepts in accordance with company objectives to solve complex problems in creative and effective ways.
- Works on large-scale, complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors.
- May determine methods and procedures on new assignments.
- Operates under minimal supervision.
- Daily client interaction at officer level.
- Be aware of, and comply with, all corporate policies.
Position Requirements:
Education, Experience Training required:
- BA/BS or equivalent experience.
- 6+ years related experience; 4+ years experience negotiating partner agreements, partner management and development.
- Ability to pass a background check.
