Business Development (Europe) – Fund Administration

The Position

Our client is a global financial services firm, with a well established fund administration business. Due to continued growth, the firm has a vacancy for a Business Development Director to be based at their London offices. You will be working as part of a global business development team, reporting into the Global Head of Business Development. The mandate for  this role is very much focused on further developing the firm's footprint throughout Europe and the UK, with a focus on private equity, debt, mezzanine, and real estate funds.

Your Profile

The client is looking for someone with a strong network of contacts throughout the Private Equity and Real Estate fund space, whom they can then introduce to the firm’s fund administration services. It may be that you have worked in the fund administration space, perhaps as a qualified accountant, thereafter having moved into the business development area of the fund administration space. Likewise, the client is open to meeting with qualified lawyers, who have a very strong network of Private Equity/Real Estate/debt/mezzanine clients throughout Europe and the UK, and feel they have the charisma, and the interpersonal skills to move into a pure business development role. The key to this role is to have a very network of contacts throughout Europe among both recently established funds and well established funds. The client will be considering candidates on a case by case basis, dependent on the level of experience gained. Strong interpersonal/presentation/ relationship building skills are essential for this role. Just as important is the ability to work on your own initiative.
