Business Development Executive

The successful candidate must possess excellent B2B sales experience, covering the Cork city region.
Working with a leading telecoms company, looking to recruit a strong SME Sales Representative to develop the SME sector (Small Medium Enterprise).
Experience in telecoms is preferred. The candidate will work on monthly targets.
Duties
• Sell contracts and solutions to the small to medium business market
• Develop a good knowledge of the companies Product Portfolio
• Responsible for a designated sales territory - need to have a very good knowledge of the potential and existing business within the area.
• Translate customer requirements and the features of the service, into offering specific customer benefits and solutions
• Identify and qualify increased business opportunities from existing customers, use expertise and knowledge to make innovative proposals
• Source leads through cold calling and manage leads from internal and external sources
• Qualify new prospects and prepare proposals, mailings, new initiatives as required
• Achieve quarterly and annual Sales targets
• Update Manager on progress preparing regular reports
• Participate in Team meetings
Essentials
5 yrs min sales experience
Full Driving Licence
Microsoft Office Proficiency
Degree or equivalent
Previous Business Development experience is essential
