Business Development Executive Job in Manchester M1 7BD, North West UK

The role of the Business Development Executive is to identify new business opportunities and to develop existing relationships.  This is an exciting opportunity to join our Broker Sales team.

Duties will include:

Contacting finance brokers via telephone to generate new business

Provide consistently effective customer service

Book appointments and manage the diaries of field based sales staff

Maintain a database of customers

Assist with the development and implementation of marketing strategies to generate new business for all lending companies within the group

Make in principle underwriting assessments based on published criteria guidelines

Keep up to date with competitors and changes within the financial marketplace

Organise agreements for brokers who want to package or introduce business

Ensure that customers understand all aspect of the procedures

Ensure that complaints follow the correct procedure

Skills and experience required:

Proven sales experience

Experience within a telephone based B2B environment would be advantageous

Good keyboard skills and working knowledge of MS Office Word and Excel

GCSE Maths and English

Excellent  telephone skills

A positive and tenacious attitude

The ability to work to target and deadlines
