A Fantastic Agency at the hub of social media innovation seeking an exceptionally talented Head of Business Development with 6 - 8 years experience in digital and/or social media sales to join their team.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and target new customers and develop strong relationships with clients and marketing services agencies.
- Collaborate and consult with major customers with the goal of extending relationships, increasing your client and agency base and optimising their advertising expenditures.
- Take responsibility for the bookings, upselling and management of your direct clients.
- Serve as a liaison with clients regarding advertising opportunities.
- Provide campaign updates and ensure that our advertisers are satisfied with their ROI.
- Liaise with Engineering department to inform product development and resolve client technical issues.
Requirements:
- Proven track record in advertising sales.
- Strong knowledge of the online industry.
- Experience of the media agency market preferred.
- Excellent organizational, analytical and influencing skills.
- Excellent written and communication skills.
- Ability to deliver results under pressure.
- Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong Powerpoint / presentation skills.
- Proactive manner with a strong sense of ownership.
- A positive attitude that contributes to the overall company culture.
- Familiarity with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.
- BA/BS degree or equivalent with top-class academics preferred
