A global market leading supply chain software solutions company is seeking results driven and experienced IT sales professionals with experience of selling software solutions to high end clients in a Business Development capacity due to expansion within the UK.  

 

The Role

A full cycle business to business role responsible for contacting key decision makers and building relationships with clients throughout your area. 100% new businesses focused you will be responsible for selling a proven suite of high value, high end supply chain software solutions ranging greatly in terms of value (anything from £50k - £1mil). Requires the ability to drive sales forward for both new and recurring revenue, software license, hosted services and added value service. An office based field sales role spending a typical 2 days in the office making your own appointments and 3 days in the field. Responsible for securing your own new business with the help of a telemarketer and will be involved in the whole sales cycle including taking part in the tendering process, identifying business opportunities, bid processing, client demonstrating and taking part in webinars and email campaigns. Working towards and achieving set KPI targets based on revenue, sales activity and face to face client meetings.


The Person

·         Needs software solution sales experience in logistics, order/stock management,warehousing, ERP solutions or similar as a field business development manager or similar with previous territory management responsibility where you have personally been responsible for new business development growth of high end, high value software solutions gained in business to business field sales to a varied client base.

·         A highly corporate achiever. 

·         Can demonstrate a proven track record of new business generation.
