KEY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED - Business Development Manager

- At least 4 years experience in selling IT solutions into relevant markets, for example Utilities (Power Plants, Gas, Water, Electrics) and Finance (Banks, Insurances), Public Infrastructure, Mass Transport, Casinos, Public Safety
- Experience of selling CCTV/IP solutions to Enterprise and / or Public customers (Applications and Infrastructure, not cameras!) would be perfect, but not a must.
- Video conferencing experience is second best.
- Must understand video streaming, imaging process.
- Must understand networking infrastructure and applications.
- Must have relevant contacts (those who need big CCTV systems) in: End users and/or Systems Integrators and/or Consultants
- May only have experience in Voice Recording Security, but will understand the Audio side of the technology and have contacts in the world of Police, Fire, First aid etc.
- Proven success of selling direct (high touch) and non-direct (selling through channels) into relevant markets.
- Should be good at building and developing customer relationships, ideally will be known and respected in the Security market.
- 1. Experience with large System Integrators / Distributors in the Security market.
2. Experience with high end systems and an Electronics / Computer Engineering background is an advantage.
- Good knowledge of Networking (TCP/IP), CCTV, PC, OS (windows2000, NT).
- Should have knowledge of major consultancy firms in the market.
- Experience with long sales cycle processes and projects with high end budgets.
- Possible Background: Indigo, Bosch, Verint, Dallmeier, Pelco, synectics.
- Not interested in experience selling cameras / hardware / access solutions.
- Understands IT Infrastructure, applications, networks, and ideally IP Video in a Private or Public Security context.

ROLE INFORMATION- JOB TITLE HERE

- Identify and obtain high level business opportunities to sell our client's security solutions with a particular focus on their video solutions.
- Our client is sitting at the 'high end' of the spectrum - deals are normally larger, targets for each sales manager are 2 to 4 million £ per year and deals are normally complex, solution based and involve a consultancy element. Knowledge of key integrators and ideally consultancies is a big advantage.
