Business Development Manager

A new and exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager to join an Accident and Claims management business which has doubled in size in the space of a year. Basic salary circa £30,000 / £50,000 OTE (uncapped) + company car + Private Healthcare (after qualifying period) + working tools

THE COMPANY

This Northern based Accident Management provider has experienced steady growth since it was established just over 10 years ago but with ambitious growth plans have doubled in size in the last year alone. They recently opened an office in the USA.

With over 130 staff in the UK, they offer a complete Accident Management solution overseeing credit hire, credit repair, recovery of uninsured loss and work to ensure a quick and streamlined process.

This is fantastic opportunity to join a growing business, in which you will play a key role in the strategy of the business moving forward.

THE ROLE

The Business Development Manager will target PLC business (major insurers and bodyshops) selling accident management and claims management solutions.

You will identify and generate new leads to create business opportunities and manage your own diary, generating face to face appointments throughout the UK.

Client negotiations will typically take place at owner/director level but the Business Development Manager will deal with a range of contacts and should be comfortable in building relationships at all levels.

The role will involve national coverage, and when necessary some overnight stays. Candidates will ideally live in the North West, Yorkshire or East Midlands regions.

THE PERSON

The Business Development Manager will be a highly motivated self starter with a passion and flair for new business development.

Applicants must have a proven track record within the accident management / insurance marketplace and be able to hit the ground running. You should have excellent communication skills and be able to meet targets and deadlines in this fast paced industry.

The Business Development Manager will ideally live in the North West, Yorkshire or East Midlands regions and be comfortable covering the UK. Overnight stays are required when necessary.
