Our client is a Deloitte Technology Fast 50 organising who are Microsoft's Country Partner of the Year. They are the leading consultancy company focussing on SharePoint technology. They are looking for a relationship salesperson who is capable of selling solutions rather than products. The successful candidate will receive fantastic support and have a great platform to earn big money.

COMPANY INFORMATION - Business Development Manager

- Turnover £8M
- 75 employees
- 6 in the sales team (3 are fulltime sales and 3 are sales support)
- 50 staff in delivery
- 2 owners of the business currently although they are undergoing an MBO which will mean this is reduced to 1.
- Microsoft Country Partner of the Year Award
- Microsoft Worldwide Partner of the Year in Enterprise Content Management
- UK Deloitte Technology Fast 50

KEY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED - Business Development Manager

- Experience of selling Microsoft based consultancy not products or licensing
- A solution salesperson
- Can manage a complete sales cycle
- SharePoint knowledge or experience ideally
- A relationship builder

ROLE INFORMATION - Business Development Manager

- Selling: consultancy services around any SharePoint based technology
- Selling to: mid-market to enterprise companies
- Key clients include: Tesco, Vodafone
- Key Verticals: Finance, Retail, Construction and Manufacturing
- You will be spending 1 to 2 days every fortnight in the Microsoft offices in Reading or Victoria where you will be building relationships with the sales guys within M/S.
- Sales Cycles for new clients are circa 1 to 6 months although for existing accounts it tends to be under 2 months.
- Order values are circa £40K up to £200K plus at the upper end (They have had accounts that have turned over £1M but they have been grown to this point over years)
- New business focused but with a focus on land and expand.
- Targets will be dependent on the candidate and experience. Experienced guys in the current team have a £2m annual target. Any target agreed will also include a ramp up for the first quarter.
