Our client is a main contractor who is currently looking for a Business development manager to cover the south east region. My client offers excellent career progression with great earning potential. They are looking for a Business Development Manager with an established portfolio of contacts for both Clients and Candidates.
About Our Client
Our client has been delivering outstanding buildings for decades. With a wealth of experience in new build, refurbishment and modernisation both on DB and traditional forms of contract covering all sectors within construction, they are able to adapt to all client needs and expectations.
About the Role
* Identify and secure Tender opportunities with existing and new Clients
* Have full responsibility for putting together successful PQQ's and Tender submissions, working closely with our construction and pre-construction teams.
* Continued improvement of submissions by incorporating feedback received
* Bring forward marketing strategy and targets - short, medium and long term
* Production of all marketing material
* Event organisation
About the Candidate
* Have established portfolio of contacts for Clients and Consultants
* Proven record in achieving securing of tender enquiries to targeted levels and type
* Achievement of high success ratio for PQQ's
* High level of bid writing skills, both in terms of content and design
* Knowledge of construction process
* Drive for continuous improvement for all marketing materials
* Experience of excellent event coordination
