The Role

Working as part of a small team the Business Development Manager will be tasked with winning and implementing new accounts in the consumer and point of sale finance market. The focus for the Business Development Manager will be in the Retail, home improvement, furtniture and electrical markets. However, it will also be down to the business development manager to use their entrepreneurial spirit to identify interesting and profitable new channels.

Working at senior level within the target accounts the business development manager will have considerable resources available to implement and drive sales through the new accounts. The Person

Essential

•Proven track record in developing new, profitable business relationships
•Strong analytical skills
•Comfortable dealing at senior level
•Excellent communication and presentation skills
•A consultative sales approach
•Well organised with a structured approach
•Ability to travel throughout the UK

Desirable

•Previous experience in financial services
•A knowledge of the consumer finance and retail finance markets
•A knowledge of Point of Sale or vendor finance
