Business Development Manager
This is a well know professional services firm and they currently have a requirement for an experienced Business Development Manager with strong relationship skills.
The role is London based but will occasionaly feature national travel
Responsibilities
- Generate a stipulated level of new business each year
- Develop and maintain a strategy to exploit opportunities to deliver income through new client acquisition, including developing relationships with other parts of the Group, professional advisers and other intermediaries
- Drive targeted activity amongst banks to assist them to win new clients/assets
- Provide and facilitate business-winning skills, support, and coaching activities to your office
- Provide reports on your own and, where appropriate, any direct reports' progress, in terms of business acquisition and initiatives to achieve same
- Working closey with Partners and senior stakeholders
Requirements background
- Good understanding of the Regulatory and Fiscal Issues affecting insolvency and restructuring
- Previous experience in client facing roles and proven track record of high performance in a sales environment in Financial services
- Good IT skills (inc Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook), Internet.
- Detailed knowledge about selling services/products in the banking/FS world
