Hays are working with a leading financial services and communications company. Due to their well-defined growth plan they are now looking to grow their UK New Business team. They are looking for a self-motivated new business professional to join a dynamic and vibrant team.
Our client is in the market for a Business Development Manager who will be exclusively responsible for securing profitable new business with SME’s. They will work under direction of the Regional Sales Manager to drive sales in order to generate incremental revenue. You will have appointments set for you however you will be expected to generate appointments yourself. A good Business Development Manager will have the gravitas and initiative to build solid, lasting profitable relationships with potential clients. You must be able to deliver first class customer service and relationship management during the sales process and beyond the first trade in partnership with Corporate Dealers.
A good candidate will be results driven and have a proven ability to meet and exceed targets. An understanding and interest in economic trends in world markets is desirable as you must be able to use your solid financial and business acumen to demonstrate the value of the proposition to the customer.
You must have experience cold calling and significant experience in a business to business sales environment. Experience in foreign exchange company is necessary Your sales skills should be evident on your CV with targets and key achievements in detail.
It will be necessary to have experience of the full 360 sales cycle from lead generation through to presentation, negotiation and deal closing face to face and on the phone.
Computer Skills: SFDC and other sales tools will be highly desirable
Other: Excellent telephone skills
