Business Development Manager – Asia recruitment

Our client is currently seeking Business Development Managers who can be accountable and compensated based upon selling to contacts and intermediaries within a designated geographical area.

This role can be based in HK or  Singapore

You must be able to apply market knowledge to identify and focus activity on contacts which deliver high volume/value to the Company. Build relationships with key Registered Individuals within designated IFA’s and exploit sales opportunities from both reactive and proactive IFA contact

Influence IFA decision-making through demonstrating a full working knowledge of the Company’s products, services and technology, and a high level knowledge of the local market and competitor products is essential

You actively promote the Company’s products by demonstrating benefit to the IFA; Develop and agree a personal business plan for designated accounts, take ownership and action to achieve your personal business plan as agreed with your Regional Sales Manager.

 
 
 
CANDIDATE SPECIFICATIONS

Our Client requires a salesperson with significant prior experience in financial services sales environment as well as a demonstrated ability to sell, and experience in their local market.

• You will have a minimum 5 year track record of delivering or exceeding sales targets and a strong knowledge of planning products and their usage in the market.

• Detailed technical knowledge with which to provide a financial planning service would be useful, as well as relevant regulations in your local market.

• Comprehensive understanding of local investment regulations.

• Significant experience with designated IFAs – business, key drivers, contacts, etc.

• Current knowledge of competitor offerings and a strong working knowledge of the Company’s full product range.

• Superior networking, relationship development management skills would be highly beneficial.
