!*!The Business Development Manager, Mid-Market, meets and exceeds sales quota objectives by developing new accounts while penetrating existing accounts of mid-sized businesses within assigned geographic territory. Position Duties Responsibilities: Penetrates existing assigned accounts and increases corporate liable business by making recommendations for new lines, new products, and developing customer solutions. Acquires new accounts of mid-sized businesses within assigned geographic territory. Gains new business through prospecting, cold-calling, networking and generating leads and referrals. Provides ongoing training for customers, handles equipment issues, performs rate plan analysis, and explains billing. Prioritizes activities to maximize sales productivity and identifies new areas for growth. Works with the Advantage program representatives to drive Individual Liable business within the targeted accounts. Continuously updates knowledge of wireless products, services, industry trends and the competitive dynamics of the marketplace. Participates in training opportunities on products and services and attend sales meetings. !*! Discretion Independent Judgment: Ability to identify customer needs and recommend the appropriate T-Mobile products and services Ability to determine opportunities to maximize sales productivity Position Requirements: Functional Technical Skills: Ability to identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and develop new accounts in assigned geographic territory. Ability to generate reporting on sales activities, customized billing reports and rate plan analysis Proficiency in windows-based software programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint Must have a valid Drivers license and satisfactory driving record and proof of insurance Ability to conduct cold calling and successfully close sales Ability to devise creative and effective sales approaches and solutions Experience: 2 Yrs. Outside sales experience with demonstrated history of sales achievements in a commissioned environment 1 Yr. Customer Portfolio Management 1 Yr. Demonstrated history of sales achievements Competencies: Ability to absorb large amounts of technical knowledge Strong organizational and time management skills with keen ability to address highly complex customer issues Proven track record of success in a commissioned environment A knack for learning and analyzing various types of businesses Sharp presentation and written communication skills Education: High School Diploma or GED Required Bachelor's Degree-General Studies Preferred Travel Requirements: Approximate 90% of time traveling Ability to work in field majority of the day calling on clients.
