The Job
As Business Development Manager Central Europe you are responsible for the German, Austrian and Swiss markets.
You make and develop new contacts while also maintaining your current relations. You take part in international fairs and conferences, provide various marketing activities in cooperation with the Communication P.R. department and actively think about Social Media in your own work field.
Responsibilities:
· Creating new (strategic) business and maintaining supporting existing customer relations for the East European market
· Sales and marketing responsible for the relevant websites
· Support on Polish market and other existing markets if needed
· Shared responsibility of the site management of websites
Principal duties:
· Business development; charting new markets, creating new business opportunities, strategic partners syndication partners
· Sales; recruiting new contacts (banners/cpc/poi), customer relations management of existing contacts, contracts, back-office support for customers
· Marketing; pr activities for both b2b and b2c/ participating in fairs conferences and initiating and maintaining social media
· Support of existing markets: expanding existing markets relations management
· Site Management: co-directing site manager (site manager duties; confirming reviews/zoover weblog/poll/toppers floppers maintaining/adsense optimisation)
Other duties:
· Acting as back-up for colleagues in the sales business development department
· Source of information/offer support to the operations department
Qualifications
· Higher Vocational Education level of working and reasoning
· Fluent in written and spoken English and Danish and/or Swedish for the Scandinavian market and German and English for Central Europe.
· Higher Vocational Education or acadamic level of working and reasoning
· Powerful communication and presentation skills
· Strong commercial qualities
· Experience with contracts and contract negotiations
· International network in travel industry an advantage
