Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and driven business development professional to join our team in Christchurch.
Reporting to the Country Manager, you will play a key role in growing the WUBS revenue by identifying and developing new business opportunities within the local market. Attracting new customers by offering value add solutions using Western Union Business Solutions products and services.
Responsibilities will include:
- Meet and exceed sales targets by attracting new trading customers to Western Union Business Solutions
- Build and maintain a sales pipeline of potential customers, identify appropriate target sectors, and suitable customers within these verticals.
- Initiate contact with prospective customers, representing Western Union Business Solutions in a professional manner at all times
- Demonstrate and present WUBS products and services
- Maintain accurate client information, sales pipeline, and revenue/opportunity forecasts in Salesforce (SFDC)
Qualifications, Skills Knowledge
- Tertiary qualifications with at least 5 years’ experience in solution selling within the financial services marketplace and/or business-to-business segment.
- A proven track record in hitting and achieving sales targets is a must
- Ability to develop and initiate successful strategic customer relationships with “C level” decision makers and a genuine interest in the international business payments market
